Air Fryer friendly! Strong enough to stand on.
With a beautiful rustic / farmhouse look and feel, this is an extremely popular (and unique) design.
Once described by a previous customer as "A labour of love", they certainly are! Even the underside joinery is plugged, stained, sanded and faded to ensure a professional finish.
This stove cover is finished with Jacobean stain, polyurethane varnish and a high quality (butter smooth) wax finish, other finishes are available. Just ask!
Gain extra work surface and hide those unsightly burners or cover that sink and gain some prep space.
Can also be used as a large serving tray for dinner parties or cosy nights in. Or, with the ever increasing popularity of Air Fryers. This board has plenty of room to stand your device on top saving valuable work space.
When your stove or sink is in use, simply move the item to a work surface and continue to use, and place back once the stove is cool. A simple solution to create more work surface!

- Wood moves over time, especially with heat variations. Minimise this by ensuring a stable environmental temperature.
- Measurements are approximate by 5mm, please allow extra "wriggle room" when placing an order, especially for tight fits. Message me if unsure.
Furniture softeners can be supplied on request at no extra cost for a soft touch to your stove top. Very useful for electric/glass/ceramic tops.
Delivery information:
Due to the popularity of these builds, we set a 6-8 weeks lead time for custom builds. We will strive and make every effort to get your item built and despatched prior to this. But to set expectations and achieve/maintain a high standard, this lead time is required. We appreciate your patience :)

Important information:
Please let me know if you are ordering this item to cover a sink, as water proof yacht varnish will be used to finish the item instead of polyurethane.

PRODUCT INFO
A beautiful piece, designed for the farmhouse look and feel. Please specify entire width and depth of your stove when ordering to ensure a perfect fit.
Made from solid Pine and finished with Polyurethane Satin varnish and finished with hand polished Beeswax, this item is sure to standout in any kitchen.
Each timber is hand selected at the timber yard and acclimatised to indoor humidity / temperature fluctuations prior to construction for (at least) 2-4 weeks.
During the build process your board will be partly assembled and left for (at least) 7 days in a temperature controlled room to allow the timber to become accustomed to indoor conditions. This process is crucial to minimise any future wood movement. Your build will then receive a final sand and edge profiling before final finishing.
The storage room simulates average temperature variations found in most UK homes.
Each item is unique and adds protection to induction hobs, and creates extra prep space.
Strong enough to stand on it makes an ideal place for your Air Fryer.
Maintaining the product couldn't be simpler, just reapply Beeswax whenever it is needed. Apply lightly and swirl it into the wood, wait 20 minutes and finish by wiping away excess in the direction of the wood grain.
