All underside joinery is plugged, stained, sanded and faded to ensure a professional finish.

When your stove is in use, simply move the item to a work surface, and place back once the stove is cool.

Wood moves over time, especially with heat variations. Minimise this by ensuring a stable environmental temperature.
Measurements are approximate by 5mm, please allow extra "wriggle room" when placing an order, especially for tight fits. Message me if unsure.

Furniture softeners can be supplied on request for a soft touch to your stove top at no extra cost. Very useful for electric/glass/ceramic tops to prevent scratches to delicate tops.


Important information:

Please state the height of your hobs (should you have them) in a personal message with your order. This item is made to order and is built to your requirements.  I'll add 1cm to this during the build to ensure a nice clearance.

Please state the depth you require the cover to be. This is the measurement from the front to back of the stove cover.

The timber used in these builds measures 2cm thickness, the width of the cover you order includes this.
Example: A 60cm wide cover provides a comfortable 55cm of available space within the legs.

Delivery information:

Due to the popularity of these builds, we set a 6-8 weeks lead time for custom builds. We will strive and make every effort to get your item built and despatched prior to this. But to set expectations and achieve & maintain a high standard, this lead time is required.

Where possible, items will be packaged with recycled cardboard from a local business.


In a nutshell :

Summary information for bespoke orders:
State clearance height (the height required to clear your hobs. Measure the height of those hobs (I'll add 1cm to make sure it clears)
State depth (measure your hob from front to back)
Double check width required (If your hob measures 60cm wide, add 5cm to accommodate the "legs" plus a little wriggle room to be shared on either side)
Furniture softeners required? For delicate glass surfaces)
Included email address/mobile number for tracking info + any delivery info, example: "Leave in the car port if no one is in"
